When illness touches a child’s life, it touches everyone around them.

Through imaginative storytelling, this book gently invites kids and caregivers to reflect, feel, and walk the path of healing together — with compassion, presence, and inner strength.

Children’s Author
Sylvie Stuart is a Certified Clinical Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Coach and the founder of Taproot EFT. She supports individuals who are navigating emotional overwhelm and life transitions that require more than logic, strength, or perseverance to resolve.
Many of the people Sylvie works with have spent years being capable, responsible, and reliable—often carrying stress silently while tending to others. Over time, this pattern can leave both adults and children feeling disconnected from their emotions and bodies. Sylvie helps bring awareness to these unseen patterns, showing that they are rooted in nervous-system survival responses rather than personal weakness or failure.
Through trauma-informed EFT, somatic reparenting work, and nervous-system education, Sylvie guides clients in a felt-sense understanding of how stress and emotional experiences live in the body—and how to gently release what no longer serves them. Her work emphasizes regulation, self-trust, and emotional literacy, creating space for clarity and resilience to naturally emerge.
Sylvie’s work is deeply shaped by her own lived experience. She has navigated leukemia and lymphoma, profound loss, and a significant identity shift, learning firsthand that healing doesn’t come from pushing through pain, but from slowing down and listening. This perspective allows her to meet clients—especially caregivers—with empathy, steadiness, and respect.
Today, Sylvie works with those who sense something needs to change but don’t want to dismantle their lives to find relief. Her approach is compassionate, grounded, and empowering, helping clients reconnect with themselves and move forward from a place of wholeness rather than fear.
Her work reflects a simple truth at the heart of Magical Me: A Story About Finding Your Inner Strength-- transformation begins when we feel seen, supported, and safe enough to listen to what’s happening inside.
